It works as designed
There is another version of the maintenance kit, "Extended". I read some complaints that if left for a long time on a shelf, the oil will ooze out of the roller and make a mess. I don't print that much, so I don't need the extended maintenance kit. This one cost less too, so I bought it. Slips right into the printer, no problem. Printing full color needs plenty of lubricant to keep the paper from jamming, and a new kit has helped a lot. Get the genuine article, designed by Xerox for your Xerox printer.

As expected
The maintenance kit was as expected, however overall I am thoroughly disappointed with the Color Cube. I have never encountered so many problems and glitches as I have had with this machine. When installing the maintenance kit and cleaning the waste tray the sensor that recognizes the waste tray is installed broke off from it's mount. I called my Xerox repair company and was essentially told "good luck". I did manage to reinstall the sensor. Then after installing the maintenance kit and purchasing refills the machine had another failure which caused it to cycle the paper tray and make additional noises doing something internally. After attempting to shut down and reboot with no success I ended up unplugging the machine a throwing it out. Yes, I threw out a 3 year old Color Cube as I am sick and tired of the problems and break downs. This will be the first and last Xerox purchase I make.

Easy to install
I love the performance of this printer. By using the e-Concierge service to keep track of the printer's needs, the maintenance kit was so easy to order and even easier to install!

Our church currently has the ColorQube 8900. It is our third Xerox copier and I love it. Each copier is always improved and does an excellent job. The quality of the maintenance kit meets the standard of the company. I have never experienced a problem with the Xerox supplies.

very simple efficient part
This maintenance kit is a quick install and when shipped overnight comes on time! We didn't have one handy but the next day it was in our hands.
