Worthless

As the other reviews note.... The holes do not match a standard 2.5" drive and the holes to match to a Dell 3.5 bracket do not line up either. Do not order this item.

Variable specification

I bought 5 of these brackets to mount SSDs in Dell Optiplex 980 SFF PCs which worked perfectly using mounting points 100mm apart. I ordered 4 more brackets and the mounting holes are only 90mm apart so no longer fit correctly. I have checked both sets and there is no difference other than the mounting holes bei Read more

bracket is too short for Dell Optiplex

There are 4 holes on each side of the mounting bracket but they don't line up with the standard 3 holes on each side of a 3.5" hard drive. The bracket is simply too short to adapt to the blue plastic bracket on Dell Optiplex 990/9010/9020 3.5" drive bay. Even the holes on the side are smaller than the ones on 3 Read more

Bracket does not match 3.5" drive mounting!

I bought this bracket to mount a 2.5" SSD in a 3.5" bay. The holes on the bottom of the bracket DO NOT MATCH to standard mounting holes for a 3.5" drive. They are about 2mm too narrow, and an inch too far apart lengthwise. The holes on the side don't line up either. Useless!

Even the holes on the side are smaller than the ones on 3.5" hard drive because it uses smaller screws.This product is garbage. Don't buy it. Don't waste your money.
