I wanted the desk area to look cleaner and figured this would do the job. I was surprised at the size of it. It didn't disappoint. I love it especially the fact it has two hdmi ports. In one port I have my mac mini and on the other port I have my work laptop which I occasionally bring home to do some work. My desk has never looked this clean and nice.

It is excellent for trading because you can have many windows open at the same time and watch what is happening to make decisions. The anti-glare is fabulous , it turns on/off when you open/close your laptop automatically. For me it is Great.

The software seems to cause issues with the web browser on my PC. I don't know if it's a common problem. I would still happily recommend this to others.

However, the software seems very glitchy, which often prevents using the multiple screen divisions feature, which was a large reason why I purchased this particular monitor.

Using two inputs on a single monitor. However what they don?t tell you is that one of the inputs needs to be a display port. You cannot do a PBP with the two HDMI connectors. Explanation of this feature was misleading on the LG Site and there is no explanation in accompanying materials that come with the monitor. LG needs to correct this issue and clarify their marketing of their features. I went through many different monitor purchases to get the feature I was looking for to only find out it did not work as intended.

It finally broke with many lines of dead pixels after the 30 day return period. LG support could not figure out how to send return label. Gave up and begged retailer to return. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the simple job done I bought this monitor because I work in the Architecture profession and dual monitors are a necessity. My office went remote and I needed to achieve my office setup or close to it at home. But I didn’t want to buy two monitors to accommodate this due to my laptop only having one HDMI input. This would add additional cost of a docking station and just more headaches. This monitor is still getting the job done and allows me to have both screens of my Remote Desktop on the screen with a little sliding screen trick through my remote software. This monitor is a one trick pony though. It’s not built for gaming or watching content and it’s speakers are non existent. But the HD screen just plugs away for work. So good for work but not a high performance model that can double as a tv. You have to go up a few dollars for that type of performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not very sturdy. Desk monitor was sitting on was bumped slightly and it tipped forward, coming in contact with a small desk fan but did not land flat down. Now all I have are lines across the screen...looks like an "Etch-a-Sketch". Very disappointed.

The extra screen space it offers me allows me to be extremely productive while also giving me a great widescreen aspect ratio for gaming. I've had it for about a year and maybe a month after I bought it I started seeing some strange screen artifacts in the corner. One call to LG and they took care of it for me within a week. Amazing customer service. Much appreciated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love The Screen Size I have two offices, one with two monitors. I wanted to upgrade my other office so that I could compare documents side by side. This monitor fits the bill nicely. The included software allows you to divide the screen up in sections, so it works just like multiple monitors if you desire. The only negative comment I have is with the stand. It does not provide adequate support for the monitor if there is any movement at all with the surface it sits on. In other words, it is too wobbly. That is a shame as this is an otherwise excellent monitor.

I have mail and browser open side by side and can easily switch back and forth as I click links. When I do zoom I get more people in the view and can easily do research while still being present in the conversation.

This monitor not only provides an excellent amount of space to spread out my work on the screen; it also looks great too. I use it with my 2020 MacBook Pro and I usually prefer the picture on this monitor over the built in Retina display

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good monitor I got this monitor because my laptop (a touch screen one could only support one external display. This was mainly supposed to function in place of two external monitors. It works well and looks good. It has 2 HDMI inputs only, so if you plan on connecting any VGA cables it won't work. It also has a standard 3.5 Audio output port. It's on the back, so can be hard to reach if you plan on connecting headphones, but works well for a speaker set. Other than that, pretty standard stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great monitor I used to use 2 monitors around 20 inches, side by side. I do alot of side by side work having to multitask constantly with my job. I also wear glasses, and I use progressive lenses which make looking out of my peripheral vision blurry. Which means I have to constantly turn my head from side to side looking back and forth, because having two monitors means more desk real estate. This monitor makes it so easy to not have to constantly twist my neck or alter my head position, and I can make much smaller adjustments and still be able to see everything I need. I also didn't realize how much I would love having a widescreen desktop when I don't need to multitask but focus on a large spreadsheet and I can open it up and see so much more of the spreadsheet and don't have scrolling back and forth and back and forth to read and write information. The LG OnScreen Control app is also a very nice feature that supports this monitor. It allows you to basically drag and drop windows into a particular section of the screen and fit it perfectly so you don't have to spend alot of time setting up window sizing to fit the side by sides you want. And I also found that when using this if you do resize one of the sections, they all resize at the same time to continue to fit fluidly together. It's pretty awesome. The colors are very nice. I have found graphics and streaming to be crisp and smooth. I am so glad that I made the choice to purchase this monitor.

I was looking into bigger screens because I need the option where I can compare documents for work. This screen is absolutely perfect. Clear, colorful, and the ultra wide is a major bonus. I love it and totally recommend!

All and all I was happy with the monitor before it shut off, but the pixels never worked again.

This monitor frequently just randomly shuts itself off with a message indicating that it is not getting a signal. It is part of a dual monitor setup and I have switched cables, output ports, input ports. The non-LG monitor consistently works fine, the LG monitor keeps shutting down.

I didn’t need a gaming-class monitor, but I do need to open multiple wide spreadsheets at the same time. Previously, I was using two 24 inch monitors, which we worked some of the time, but find I am frequently opening 4 and 5 windows at a time and this gives me both the horizontal room, plus a little extra vertical real estate to be able to view everything at the same time. This has great resolution and is full HD at a very reasonable price point.

I haven't tried the split-screen feature as yet, but will soon... Only complaint is the terrible designed manual and the hidden manual control, I wasn't able to shut off the resolution pop-up that comes on every boot-up... I was finally able to find the control by physically searching the monitor for buttons... I would still recommend this monitor...

Monitor color-calibrates easily with my Color-Munki, you just need to know how to adjust brightness/contrast and RGB colors manually before color calibration software does it's job. Colors stay true, as long as you calibrate it regularly (especially skin-tones in photos with people). IPS accuracy is a key.

I am getting older and hard to see the screen on my laptop, especially when on it for long periods. I appreciate having the larger screen and being able to split the windows. I has been great for me for those 2 reasons. Visual and screen splitting and the fact when someone in the house is viewing something from my laptop they actually see what I am sharing. I would recommend to someone if there was someone in mind who did not already have a monitor. Most people appreciate and have them these days.

I did have to buy an adjustable stand, to make it fit my desk correctly, and now that I have it at just the right height it's perfect. The sleek design is attractive, too. Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this screen! I bought this screen and truly I loved it! The issue was that it doesn't have the ability to receive from two HDMI chords at the same time. In other words I couldn't split the screen in two and have one side playing a YouTube video, and the other side be gaming on my Playstation. Ultimately I decided to return it but I did buy two LG 24' FreeSync monitors in it's place because LG makes and phenomenal product. As I understand there is a more expensive version of this monitor that will allow what I believe is called Picture By Picture (PBP but it was out of my budget. Still, thanks for making a great product that I am still very happy with!

I think that the colors and quality of the build is good, but the DPI is around 81 per cm because the screen is huge. It does not bother me at all, but it might if you are used to 4K resolution. Overall I think for the price this is a product that is extremely worth it, and I do recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Display I’ve been using the monitor a while now and love how large and clear the picture is. Setting it up took a little time trying to find the program on the LG website that allows you to do split screen though and the instructions weren’t the clearest. Once I downloaded the needed plug-in and started using it I found that it can be a little glitchy. I wouldn’t recommend using the split screen feature that often on the one screen. I am going to be buying another smaller monitor to use when I need to have dual monitors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It worked well, but broke easily 6 months after I bought it, I carefully moved it to my new house by putting it in the back seat of my car. Well something must have lightly scraped the screen, and voila, vertical and horizontal colored lines appeared all over the screen. Now it is a throw-away. Apparently can’t be repaired. Argh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picture is nice software causes lots of issuez I bought this from best buy to eliminate multiple monitors and to split the screen. I have had it cause system interrupts, screens mover from one to the next, support does not answer emails and they have text chat off. It's insane, I may dispute the credit card charge.

I purchased this monitor at Best Buy as I was getting very tired of working on a little lap top. This monitor has totally changed my work life. I LOVE IT!!!!!! This has completely improved my efficiency.

I was excited when I bought it but its been all down hill. I am really not happy with the whole experience so far. wish it would be better.
