The PS-606-HGDG features six NEMA 5-15R-HG "green dot" hospital-grade outlets that supply power to medical equipment used inside patient care vicinities, including operating rooms, therapy rooms and imaging environments. It meets UL 2930 standards with a NEMA 5-15P-HG plug that provides redundant ground connection. The innovative input plug eliminates the need for an additional ground wire, which reduces cable clutter, the risk of tripping and potential shock risk to a patient in the event of a ground fault.
The Safe-IT power strip is protected by an antimicrobial coating that helps resist the growth of bacteria, viruses, fungi, mold and mildew.
With no central power switch, this power strip presents no danger of accidental shutoff and cutting off power to essential devices. Resettable 15-amp circuit breakers protect connected equipment against overloads. Locking plastic safety covers are included to block access to unused outlets.
The six-foot cord gives you some leeway in positioning the power strip away from a standard NEMA 5-15R duplex wall outlet. Built-in mounting flanges and integrated keyhole slots let you mount the all-metal housing to benches, stands, mobile carts, IV poles or other areas containing multiple cord-and-plug-connected medical electrical equipment used in patient care vicinities.
