Have had to order at least 10 of these in the past year now that some of the desktops include these. Easier and a bit cheaper than buying a new video card. So far no issues.

Simple to use
When you're spending most of your money upgrading the computers which control your global surveillance and death ray tracking systems you don't always foresee the need to upgrade the monitors as well.
This adapter did great work of extending the life of my older displays so that they could still work with the newer computers and laptop docks which only have DisplayPort outputs.
Found them so easy to use that even the engineers and geologist could figure them out.

My AEP IT person, who helped me setup my new Laptop PC, knew what part I needed and we ordered it, the day I received my new laptop pc.
This was exactly what I needed. I had a couple of older CRT that I also whated to try to use and my AEP IT person, who helped me install my new laptop PC, knew exactly what part I needed and I we ordered the above part.
The shipping did take a couple days longer than I anticipated, for our mail delivery system is secure, so I did have to wait a little longer than I thought, but once I received this part, IT ALL WORKED PERFECTLY! NICE WORK AEP-IT installer! GOOD WORK!

These things are great, does exactly what it needs to. Only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the price (a bit high for such a small adapter). Used to connect dual monitors to hp 8100 and 8200 PCs flawlessly.

Good Product
We had to purchase these because the monitors we have do not have DisplayPorts. This converter worked great allowing us to keep our old monitors when purchasing new desktops.
