Extend a network or control remote equipment using this Ethernet Extender. Use UTP, Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 RJ45 terminated cable for distances of up to 0.5mi (800m). Dual-speed (10/100Mbps) Ethernet signal booster enables efficient and reliable network connectivity. Extend Network Connectivity| The unmanaged LAN extender utilizes the pairs of wires within a UTP cable to function as a bridge, extending a local network beyond the standard 328ft (100m) limit of a UTP cable. Use one or two pairs of twisted wire to achieve different speeds and distances to better suit the setup. Achieve up to 984ft (300m) at 100Mbps with a single pair of wires and up to 0.5mi (800m) at 10Mbps with two pairs of wires. Thoughtful Design| The booster kit ships ready to use in a standard setup (remote and local units). DIP switches allow to change the settings and behavior of the units for a custom deployment. Status LEDs provide a visual indication of the network and various settings that allow quick assessment of the setup. Versatile| The Long-Range LAN Extender can be wall-mounted, using the included hardware. The kit includes power adapters for each unit. Use the LAN extender adapter for Internet or network access to remote office or branch locations, create remote WiFi APs (Access Points), remote IP-based video surveillance, equipment management and control, VoIP, automation, and more. For maximum compatibility, RJ11 copper cable is supported to connect the remote and local units. Being a transparent network device allows the network extender to support the following Ethernet protocols, such as WoL (Wake-on-LAN), 16K Jumbo frames, 802.1Q VLAN tagging, and PXE boot.
