This shielded snap-in coupler (F/F) connects two Cat6a network cables to create one longer connection without the time and effort of terminating a new keystone jack. The coupler's keystone design and dual RJ45 ports are ideal for convenient feed-through patching when used with a shielded patch panel or standard data wall plate. Made completely of metal, the N235-001-SH6A-1 is recommended for setting up premise wiring, telecommunications, data networking and Ethernet connections.
The protective metal housing reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) that can inflict hardware damage or data loss in healthcare and financial applications where data is particularly sensitive. This EMI/RFI filtering also helps your connected components perform better and last longer.
Compatible with all Cat6a cables, regardless of what size wire they use, the UL-listed N235-001-SH6A-1 with straight-through wiring is backward compatible with previous generation LANs. It meets all requirements for EIA/TIA Category 6A compliance.
The N235-001-SH6A-1 is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.
