This Cat6a RJ45 shielded plug simplifies the installation of devices in an above-ceiling application where installing a face plate isn't practical or where outlets, jacks and patch cables must be plenum rated. Modular Plug Terminated Link (MPTL) topology allows a Cat6a cable to be terminated to the N232-SHC6A-1, which then connects to a Type 3 or Type 4 PoE (Power over Ethernet) device, such as a WAP (Wireless Access Point) or surveillance camera.

Connect high-power PoE devices such as video conferencing devices, laptops and flat screens, building management devices and more. The UL-compliant N232-SHC6A-1is 4PPoE (PoE++) compatible and IEEE 802.3bt compliant for PoE applications up to 100 watts.

The die-cast zinc plug is made for fast, reliable terminations in the field with just a wire stripper/cutter. It accommodates 22-27 AWG solid or stranded cabling and 6-9 mm cable jacket diameters. Ideal for assembling high-performance patch cords in a hurry, the N232-SHC6A-1 can be re-terminated as many as 20 times.

The fully shielded metal housing blocks disruptive EMI and RFI line noise that can disturb your electronics and inflict hardware damage or data loss. This EMI/RFI filtering also helps your connected components perform better and last longer.

The durable zinc alloy and nickel-plated composition ensures your connection is built to last. A locking cylinder screws into place to ensure the installed cable remains secured.
