Rated 5 out of 5 byAdam1138 from Way way better than APC UPSI've always used APC UPS in the past. Over the past couple of years APC units have become unreliable with various silly error messages. One example was more then one APC bleating that the battery is not installed correctly, they saying it is installed correctly (over and over again). The Eaton UPS's I have installed look more modern, have better power connectivity (in and out) and the web interface with their gigabit ethernet card looks brilliant. Eaton kit can all be cloud managed also.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBrianinca from nullI have a 3000 VA 5P at my DR site. I had to have my Electrical department upgrade my power outlets, it is NO FOOLIN' industrial strength. When the main site burns to the ground, I will have enough UPS for the DR server and the re-implementation server that will be up in 48 hours. Then we can all go back to work in the parking lot on picnic tables! Having a solid UPS solution is so important, and so easily fouled up, I appreciate the solidity and performance of the Eaton 5P line - I have a 2200 VA 5PX with a 2nd battery box in my main server room.

Rated 5 out of 5 bySteve9603 from nullObligatory disclaimer: I received one of these on a SpicePanel; it's a 5P1500RTI've been running it for about nine months now on a home server farm without a single issue or complaint. The ability to sit in the living room and power-cycle unused UPS banks to not devour power when it's not required is great, and the notifications work to let me know if something's gone awry with mains power. The network card integratuionI'm in the process of recommending them to my employer.

Rated 5 out of 5 byGrey from nullI love my Eaton 5p! Get this! Get it now. It's the best rackmount UPS ever. It's networked, it talks to Spiceworks, and the LCD panel is easily read. Bonus: you can expand the battery with a chain system!

Rated 5 out of 5 byspicyhead-azn from It's Worth Every Penny !!!I've always use the 5P750R Rackmount UPS for all my clients and haven't failed me yet. One feature that I really like about EATON is the automatic startup when power comes back up as soon as it detects power. My customers are happy because of the mini LCD display. When you add the add-on Ethernet card, you'll be able to manage the UPS in their management tool - did I mention that it's a cloud ready?!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 bybbigford from nullI've put in a few of these. Eaton is a great company with absolutely rock solid equipment. Very high quality UPS. Management software is nice too. The intelligent power management software can be setup to scan for UPSs out on your network. Once its setup, you can configure it to check the health status of each UPS and set alarms for major issues. We've been extremely satisfied with any Eaton equipment we buy. I also go to their UPSs before I even think about checking out another manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5 bydamon.theis from Great ups that will actually fit in a small rack!I picked up the 550 version of this right after spiceworld 2019 and a visit to the Eaton booth. So glad i stopped by to talk to them. This is the first rack mount i have found that fits in a small rack. You may need 90 degree/flat power cords depending on your rack construction, but this unit saved me buying an additional rack just to get things setup the way i wanted. Mark me up as another Eaton convert.
