Memory isn't recognised by system
Bought 2 of these for two identical Ideapad L3 15IML05 laptops (as recommended via this site). Disconnected battery and installed in single ram slot. Both laptops only recognised the existing soldered 4GB system ram in BIOS and Windows 11.
Either this memory is incompatible or there is a design flaw with Lenovo laptops.

This memory module matched my expectations. It was a gift to someone else and I installed the memory myself. The second half of laptop upgrade. Replacing the 8 GB in the wife's Dell Inspiron laptop with this 16 GB along with the SSD has made a huge improvement in it's speeeed. No fuss, no drama! Seated this DIMM and it helped push total memory to 24G on a Dell Inspiron 5402. Consequently it ran much smoother even when carrying 5 simultaneous KVM's (1 debian, 3 centos, 1 win10) on a Fedora 34. Thanks for the very well designed DIMM! It fit very well.
