The worst
This printer should be the subject of a class-action lawsuit. It absolutely does not stay on a wireless network. No matter how many times I have tried to set it up, if fails. And when it DOES work, it will suddenly start printing in the middle of the night.
I'll never buy another Canon product.

Can't contact tech support
I purchased this product for my wife as a gift. I have tried NUMEROUS times to connect the printer via WiFi TO NO AVAIL. I HAVE FOR 3-DAYS ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT TECH SUPPORT, BUT EVERY TIME i WAS GREETED WITH A MESSAGE "THE WAIT TIME IS IN EXCESS OF AN HOUR". This is not acceptable. Each time I set up the network preferences I get a message cannot connect, check the PSK. NOTHING IN THE INSTRUCTIONS REFERENCES "PSK"!!!
(everything is set up per the instructions Where can I go, or who can I actually make contact with to get resolution for this issue?

Decent Home Office Printer
I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
Setting up the printer was incredibly easy. I didn't actually need to get out the manual to do so, but the manual does provide clear instructions should someone need the manual. There is one exception, though. The printer comes with an extra piece that was not identified in the manual. After some searching online, the part seems to be a dust cover for legal length paper.
The printer connected to the WiFi quickly and easily. I was also able to send documents, photos, or anything to printed from my phone without fuss.
The printer is quick with both color and black and white documents (as you would expect from a laser jet printer. This model does not have any other options, though (e.g., scanner). If someone wanted a printer for a home office, then they may want to consider a different printer.
I will say the printer is heavy for its size. I have had other laser jet printers that were half as heavy as thing. That's not inherently a problem, but I was totally prepared when I picked up the box.

Jams using photo paper
The specs claim it can support heavy paper, but I purchased Canon brand photo paper and it jams every time it's used, unable to successfully print from any tray. Only thin copy paper will work, like 20lb, even 24lb resume paper jams.

Worst Printer I have ever Owned!
I was excited and hopeful when this printer arrived a day early, but quickly disappointed. I promise that I did not want to give a bad review, but this company did not allow me any other choice! I spent forever trying to get connected wireless and when it finally did on the NEXT day, it wouldn't print! The picture was not sharp & clear and I used some really nice paper, and printed twice when I asked for one. Then the error light comes and no matter what I did, it just wouldn't print again. Set the paper arrangement correctly message kept coming up time and time again! What more could I do when I kept taking it out of the drawer and putting it back in. I did that a couple of times without any results. I am going to pack this printer up and send it back to Amazon. I do not need or want this kind of stress in my life when I'm trying to give my best to my customers. I tried calling to get some answers, but who can wait on the phone for an hour! Unacceptable to the fullest degree! An Hour and no weekend help...just unacceptable!

Good Printing Quality
I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
I received my printer on Thursday. The box was quite heavy; in fact, my husband had to carry it up the stairs to my office. I was able to remove the printer from the box and assemble it in less than 20 minutes. The instructions were adequate to do the job without being overly descriptive or complex.
I decided that I wanted to go wireless and I was surprised at how easy it was to link everything up. I got a printer from another company and had to plug everything in because I could not get the printer to link to my network! Needless to say, the easy, no brain wireless feature is a huge hit with me!
I like the fact that it prints two-sided prints which is a huge save on paper. I have printed a resume for my daughter as well as other documents and the ink looks fresh, crisp and has a nice professional look to it.
I have printed a couple photos just to test the coloring and I was quite impressed by the print quality. The colors look true to the actual photo. We were able to easily print from our phones and again the color quality was great.
The ability to print legal-sized prints is also a nice feature.
I was able to print by inserting a flash drive into the printer, but could only locate one jpg file. I couldn`t figure out how to print the Excel files that were on the flash drive.
The printer is quite loud compared to other printers. The printer also is quite bulky and heavy as well. It does not prove to be a good space saver if this is important to the consumer. The energy saving feature is quite nice and eco-friendly.
Of course, the consumer needs to understand that this is a printer, not a copier or scanner. The printing quality, however, is very good.

Great quality printing, but very difficult set-up.
I have several homes and own several printers. HP printers are essentially "plug and play". By comparison, setting up the Canon was a puzzling and frustrating experience. The manual was not helpful.

Sturdy and good quality
I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
I received this product and my initial impression was that it was heavy, yet sturdy and seemed akin to other higher volume printers I have used for small business.
SETUP:The setup was fairly clear though we were setting up on a Mac and it wasn't explicitly clear how to find the driver through the canon.com website. If you type in canon.com you get the global website and it searching for drivers there brings up no results. Googling 'drivers for Canon LBP622Cdw' worked though and brought us to usa.canon.com which was easier. This should be in the quick start guide. It was otherwise pretty intuitive to set up.
We also thought that the wireless set up could be clearer. The instructions used terms that we didn't recognize so we were guessing a bit as we were moving through that set up.
FUNCTION: The printer's viewscreen seems pretty outdated and the scroll menus are clunky. That being said, in 2019 we're used to this at this point and we got through it all within a 1/2 hour.
The internal set up to get ready to print was noisier than I would have liked for a printer at this level.
The printing was as expected. The screen shuts down soon after to save energy.

If I could give this product zero stars I would.
This printer is the most difficult printer I have ever had. It will not stay connected to the network no matter what you do. Every time you get off the computer and come back, you have to re-find it and put it back on the network. I have never had this issue with a wireless set-up before. I have all the drivers installed, including the one released on 01/06/2020, and it still does not fix this issue. I have owned this product for a little over six months. I will never buy a canon again.

Not worth it
1. I have no answer for the first question.
2. I have no answer for the second question.
3. The product instructions are clear enough.
4. The product was NOT easy to assemble, in fact it would not connect/set up via wifi or hard wired/plugged in to my desktop.
5. This product, compared to others I`ve used, is NOT user friendly. I even went on line to read other reviews re: this product and one person said `you need a Ph.D. in printer connecting to get this to work` The fact of the matter is I was not able to get the printer that was sent to me to connect at all.
6. I couldn`t get it to connect so of course it did NOT meet my expectations.
7. I would improve the over all connection/set up process.
8. It is also a lot heavier and bulkier than most other similar printers

Canon printer
I receive this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The Canon printer is a good size the set up was very easy and the directions are accurate. The printer prints great quality pictures in pages in good color. From all the printers I’ve ever had to set up this one was pretty easy. There is one piece that was separated from the printer in its own packaging that I am unaware of where to place it. Either I skipped a step or the step it’s self isn’t clear enough. This is my first Canon printer and from the looks of it I’m highly satisfied and from the functionality of it I am satisfied as well

Great hardware, but fairly poor overall user experience
The hardware itself is great. It yields excellent prints, and seems very well constructed. But the MacOS printer drivers and wifi connection experience is pretty rough. I have this connected to our home network by wifi, and all 3 computers have the same problem where the printer will go to sleep and then disappear from the network, and show as offline.
the only remedy that seems to work is to cycle the power on the printer, and then have everyone remove the driver and reinstall it. Not fun.
Clearly, Canon knows hardware engineering. But it is just as clear that they haven't a clue for user experience with the software side of their products (bordering on disdain for their customers based on how little effort they seem to put into this.
If you plan on having the printer tethered to your computer by USB, go for it. But, if you want this to function as a WiFi printer, I can't recommend it.

Ignore bad reviews from ppl who cant figure it out
First of all it will work with default drivers but it will be inconsistent and unreliable. You must install the Canon driver and make sure Windows is using it! Also must install the Canon mobile app, or you will have a bad experience. Also need to select the correct paper type on the printer AND the computer. Not just "plain" paper, but "plain 1" "plain 2" etc.

Great printing, but big unit
This printer prints high quality sheet very quickly. The wireless connectivity is a big convenience over our old usb connected printer. I rated it at 4 stars instead of 5 because:
1. It is quite large/heavy for a home printer
2. I had issues installing the driver on my Office 365 computer. After a third (irritating try of the same procedure it magically worked.
3. I can not select a print size when printing a photo from my phone. (I am just printing on regular paper, but can’t get the image to be smaller than 8x10 unless I put it into a Word document first.)

I've had this printer for about a year and if you overlook the fact that I can only connect with of my 3 printers and my phone and the having to stop and cool down every 6 pages, it is dark enough, color is fine, and print is sharp. Would I purchase again, NO! Shame to, it fits my needs other than the two issues.

Its a wired printer if you want it to work
It says its a wireless printer. It is not. Its drivers crash WEEKLY- leaving me to pull the printer out of its nice out of the way space in my work closet, and put it perched on a not really big enough for it end table in my living room. Absolutely abysmal customer service, never seems to connect, and even the high yield cartridges run out way too fast- especially for how expensive they are. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to buy this nightmare.

I have had this for a few months and had no issues printing regular sized paper and other things such as shipping labels (that were on a 8.5 x 11 sized sheet. Then I decided to print thank you cards and ordered some blank ones. Forget it. This printer needs you tell it the size of the paper on the computer and the printer but then still doesn't print? Customer service? Yeah no make sure you set aside an entire day for being on hold and absolutely no help. I will NEVER buy or recommend Canon products to any (except for maybe my enemies.)

Awful Printer. Not worth the money spent.
I bought this about two years ago and have had nothing but issues with it. Elevated calls to CS and no permanent fix. The toner runs out fairly quickly (I don’t print that much), it’s insanely expensive to replace and can’t use off brand or it messes up paper, it constantly disconnects itself from my computer and phone. It repeatedly says it needs to pull paper from a different tray (there is only one tray). It’s worthless. I will not buy another canon printer. Period.

Wireless Issues Abound
The wireless issues with this printer make it virtually unusable. I've had this printer for around two years and I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that I have to wirelessly reconnect this printer to my devices 50% of the time I try to use it. Happens on all of my Windows and Mac devices (including tablets and phones). Today was the straw that broke the camel's back - I was in a rush and had to print an important document. To no surprise, the printer's wireless connection was not working. I tried to reconnect it, as I've had to numerous times before, but this time, there was a message on the printer's LCD screen saying that the IP address had been updated and I was ultimately unable to wirelessly connect this printer to my computer (thus leaving me unable to print that important document). I'm getting rid of this printer and never buying a Canon printer again.
