Together, we're empowering communities to reach their unlimited potential.
At CDW, we make technology work so people can do great things.
We enable opportunities for people and uplift them with technology. Community care and giving are core to our company culture and part of what makes CDW the company it is.
That’s why we are committed to making a lasting, meaningful difference through our global Social Impact program.
Commitment to Digital Equity
In our connected world, every person should be able to experience the possibilities that technology unlocks.
Our digital inclusion efforts include:
Providing Access
We help ensure people have access to the technology they need like computers, software and internet connectivity.
Supporting Education
We power initiatives that excite learners about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), computer science and digital literacy.
Building Our Workforce
We're committed to diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) and are actively creating a technology industry that reflects the world we live in.
Making Our Impact
We invest resources and experiences to better the communities we live and work in. Our focus spans three areas where we can make a significant impact:
- Making financial contributions to worthy causes with partnerships and charitable programs.
- Giving coworker time and talent to our communities through volunteerism and giving.
- Using technology expertise to provide access to tech and bridge the digital divide.
Health and Wellness
Supporting our communities is one of the hallmarks of CDW’s culture. For over 30 years, coworkers have designed and implemented fun and creative activities to raise money for their local CMN Hospital all while promoting camaraderie, teamwork, compassion for others and a fun work environment.
Money raised during the CDW Fun Drive is given to CMN Hospitals across the US and Canada. For example, donation campaigns run out of the CDW Toronto office provide proceeds to the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto.
CDW has raised and donated over $672,000 to SickKids during a 17-year partnership with the hospital. These donations supported ependymoma research at the Arthur and Sonia Labatt Brain Tumour Research Centre and helped make a new data centre, named after CDW Canada, at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning.
